Grace Davis Conrad

Mrs. Grace Davis Conrad, 89, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. She was born March 4, 1925 in Yadkin County to William Edward and Lillian Dull Davis. Mrs. Conrad was an active member of Lewisville Baptist Church and the Lewisville Historical Society. She was retired from Strebeck & Conrad Oil Company and the Dodge dealerships in Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Rita Grace Conrad Pullman. Surviving are her husband, Fred Allen “Nick” Conrad; a granddaughter, Tara Pullman of Asheboro; a grandson, William Pullman III of Asheboro; a brother, Carl Davis of Pfafftown, a sister, Linda Stimpson of Lewisville; faithful nephews, Wayne Huffman and Bob Huffman; and several additional nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, May 30, 2014, at Lewisville Baptist Church with the Dr. George D. Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice. The family would like to send a special thank you to friends, neighbors, and caretakers for their loving care.
