Dr. Robert “Bob” Samuel Bujard, Jr.

Dr. Robert “Bob” Samuel Bujard, Jr., 82, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center with his wife by his side. Robert was born October 15, 1932, in Jefferson County, TX, a son to the late Robert Samuel Bujard, Sr. and the late Edith Radar Bujard. He was a graduate of Rice University in Houston and Baylor College in Waco, TX. Bob married the former Helen Burleson on October 22, 1988. Bob was an active and faithful member of St. Clement’s Episcopal Church; you could always find him supporting any type of function the church had. He enjoyed studying History and watching Jeopardy on TV. Bob was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Helen Bujard of the home; three children, Marie Hagerstrand and her husband, Brian, of Waukesha, WI, David Bujard and his wife, Joanna of Fairfax, VA, and Kathryn Bujard of Clemmons; five grandchildren, Mikael, Samuel and Briana Hagerstrand, Robert and Daniel Bujard; and the mother of his two first children, Patricia Bujard. A funeral service was held Thursday, July 17th at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, with The Rev. Jamie Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Clement Episcopal Church, 3600 Harper Road, Clemmons, NC or to Humane Society of Davie County, 291 Eaton Rd., Mocksville, NC 27028.
