Dressed in their finest, senior citizens danced to familiar Christmas tunes Monday evening at The Elms … with some youngsters.
More than a dozen members of the Rotary Club of Clemmons attended the annual “Elms at Tanglewood” Resident’s Christmas Party to spend time socializing and dancing with more than 50 of the senior residents of the Elms. This has become an annual event and is enjoyed by all. Both the residents and the Rotarians attend ed the event dressed in their best Christmas outfits.
“It is a great night to honor our seniors and to spend time with them in a festive environment … plus many of these seniors can really dance.
Both the senior residents and the Rotarians, really enjoy the dancing and the fellowship”, commented Thomas Orr, past Rotary president.
