On Monday, the Clemmons Village Council discussed traffic concerns from the 2015 Tanglewood Festival of Lights. Village Manager Larry Kirby said it seemed like “everyone decided to come at the same time,” creating traffic that backed up all the way to I-40. Another problem, he said, was that those paying to enter with credit cards with chips took much longer than cash transactions. A meeting will be held soon among the key parties involved in all aspects of the event to talk about how things can be improved this year.
