Larry Junior Layell

Mr. Larry Junior Layell, 69, of Lewisville passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 27, 1948 in Elkin to Raymond Junior and Josephine Miller Layell. Mr. Layell attended Grapevine Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Judith “Judy” Franklin Layell of the home; his mother of State Road; one brother, Donnie Layell of State Road; two sisters, Patricia Shinault and husband, Ray of Elkin and Carolyn Boone of Wilkesboro; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Grapevine Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Comer, Asst. Pastor Matthew Comer and Mr. Tommy Nixon officiating. Stephen Worth Tuttle

March 9, 1955-May 22, 2017

Stephen Worth Tuttle, 62, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County to Foster Worth Tuttle and Wanda Faye Barrett. He attended North Forsyth High School. He worked several years at LARCO Construction Company as a heavy equipment operator. He loved drawing, building NASCAR models, traveling to the beach and the mountains, and playing music. He was predeceased by his father; his brother, Gary Goforth; and sister, Pam Barrett. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Tammy Beauchamp Tuttle; his mother; his brother, Terry Goforth of Germanton; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews, and one very special little great-great-niece, Kori, “his little girlfriend.” A very special thank you to the CICU nurses who took extra-special care of him. The memorial service was held Saturday, May 27, at Sharon United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
