A ground breaking ceremony was held after worship service on Sunday, November 19, to begin construction of a new main entrance and enlarged narthex at Clemmons First Baptist Church. This new addition will enhance and more clearly identify the main entrance to the sanctuary. Members of the Main Entrance/Foyer Renovation Committee responsible for the project are Nancy Anders, Betty Griffith, Clarence Groce, Sue Lawrence, Fredia Roberts, and Larry Walker. The architect for the project is Ramsey, Burgin, Smith of Salisbury, and the contractor is DreamBuilt Construction, Inc. of Advance. The project is expected to take five months to complete.
