Rep. Virginia Foxx tours expanding Clemmons firm

fast-growing Clemmons firm has added 20 new jobs as it opened a second location here. U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx toured the new production facility of Battery Watering Technologies last week and praised its high-tech operation and world-wide marketing reach. BTW manufactures plastic valves that go in batteries for forklifts and golf carts. Company president Scott Elliott had planned to expand at the company’s original Holder Road location. Instead, the company acquired a facility at the Dillon Industrial Park near the Southwest Athletics complex that Rep. Foxx visited last week.
