HIGH POINT — Piedmont Federal Savings Bank announced plans today to build a branch office in High Point at the Palladium Shopping Center off Eastchester Drive. “We are excited to be in this part of the Triad,” said Richard Wagner, Piedmont Federal’s CEO and chairman. “We look forward to providing a truly local option to High Point customers.”
Founded here in the Triad in 1903, Piedmont Federal has been in operation more than 114 years. The bank offers personal accounts and related services as well as home loans and business account services. “Our focus has always been local; we are committed to extending that personal service to our neighbors in Guilford County,” remarked Mike Hauser, Piedmont Federal’s president and COO.
Piedmont Federal currently operates ten branches, with eight locations in Forsyth County, including an office in Kernersville.
Construction is expected to be completed by late spring 2019.
