Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education member resigns

Lori Goins Clark, a Republican member of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education representing District 2, has resigned from her position. Goins Clark was serving her second term on the Board. WS/FCS Board of Education Chair Malishai Woodbury said, “We thank Lori for her four and half years of committed service to the students, staff, and parents of our district.”

Pursuant to its policies, the WS/FCS Board of Education began discussions about filling the vacant seat at its meeting on Sept. 10.
