In support of McHenry
As I am sure you are aware, due to the Congressional re-districting in North Carolina, Forsyth County will no longer be in the 5th Congressional District after 2020. It has been a great honor and privilege to serve you as your member of Congress. Although I am sad to lose you as a constituent, I am very pleased to inform you that you will now be in the 10th District, which is currently represented by my good friend, Congressman Patrick McHenry.
Patrick and I entered Congress together in 2005, and I know he is a man of the highest character. He shares the same conservative values that you and I do, and he has consistently fought for our values in Washington. Patrick is a lifelong resident of western North Carolina, who grew up in the church and working in the lawn mowing business his father built in their backyard.
Congressman McHenry has taken those lessons to Washington to fight for the families of the 10th District. He has been a consistent voice for fewer taxes, less regulation, and less spending. He is a staunch defender of life and our 2nd Amendment rights. He is an ally of President Donald Trump, and has worked with him to build the wall and support our troops.
It is my pleasure to offer my endorsement of Congressman Patrick McHenry as he seeks re-election in the new 10th District. I know he will continue conservative leadership for Forsyth County. I am humbled by all the support you have shown me during my time as your representative, and I hope my friend Patrick McHenry can count on your support.
