The Seniors Wonderful World of Golf Tour presented it’s annual “Give Back” Campaign and winter breakfast last week at the Clemmons First Baptist Church Family Life Center. A large crowd enjoyed breakfast provided by Mrs. Pumpkin’s and guest speaker Dave Goren, executive director of the National Sports Media Association and former WXII-TV sports director. The 2019 gifts of $2,500 were presented to The Wounded Warrior’s “No Greater Love Foundation” and Senior Services “Meals on Wheels.”

Plans have been made by the SWWG leadership team for another year as the organization begins its 11th season for another “Race for the Seniors Cup.”

The Seniors Wonderful World of Golf Tour is a non-profit organization based in Clemmons designed to provide fun at playing friendly, competitive golf while developing acquaintances into lasting friendships. It’s actively involved in giving back to the surrounding communities through charitable contributions on an annual basis. The organization has a membership base of 170 senior golfers over the age of 55. Membership is primarily through recommendation from current membership. For more information you can go to the website at www.swwgst.com .
