NC State University announces dean’s list

The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester.

Citadel cadets and students awarded gold stars

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Gold stars were awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher in the fall 2019 semester. Cadets and students who achieve gold star recognition are also placed on The Citadel’s dean’s list.

The nearly 600 cadets and students awarded gold stars include:

• Grant Daniel of Clemmons

• Troy Smith of Lewisville

Local students named to dean’s list at Anderson University

ANDERSON, S.C. —  The following students were named to the dean’s list at Anderson University for the fall 2019 semester. In order to be named to the dean’s list, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the semester.

• Rachel Buckner of Clemmons

• Weston Penrod of Lewisville

• Brooke Salisbury of Lewisville

Furman University dean’s list

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The following local Furman University students have been named to the dean’s list for the 2019 fall semester. Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system.
