WINSTON-SALEM — Lane closures are scheduled for this week along a stretch of U.S. 421 in Forsyth County.

Weather permitting, the inside lane of U.S. 421 South is scheduled to close between Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Jonestown Road each day from 9 a.m. until 6 the following morning, beginning Monday and ending Saturday.

This work is part of the project to improve the Peace Haven Road interchange in preparation for construction of the future Winston-Salem Northern Beltway junction with U.S. 421.

Drivers should slow down and be cautious throughout the work zone and anticipate minor delays because of the lane reductions.
