With AP exams over and classes coming to an end, summer break will be starting on Friday, with today being the last day of school. Though students and staff haven’t been physically in school since March 13, many are glad to see e-learning come to a close for the year. Let’s see what else the Titans are up to.
On May 20, West held its virtual Awards Day ceremony to recognize the hard work and achievements of senior Titans. Students were recognized for scholarships, departmental achievements, perfect attendance, and much more. Congratulations to all these talented Titans!
On Tuesday, a virtual Student of the Year ceremony was held. Each teacher may pick a student of the year for their dedication to a particular subject or positive attitude in the classroom or virtual class. Congratulations to all those recognized as students of the year!
West’s virtual graduation will be held on the original graduation date on Saturday, June 13, but will now be broadcasted at 7:30 p.m. from Cable 2. Diploma pick-up will be held the following week starting Monday, June 15, and ending on June 22. Seniors should be sure to sign up for a specific day and time to pick up their diplomas through a Google form by Friday at 5 p.m. Each student will be allotted 15 minutes to get their diploma and walk across a stage for pictures.
Go Titans!
