Local students named to LMU’s dean list for spring semester

HARROGATE, TN — Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) has announced the dean’s list for the spring semester. To be placed on the dean’s list, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher, grade-point average for the semester. The following students were recognized:

• Kiley Holmes of Clemmons

• Lucas Rattigan-Coe of Winston-Salem

Rohden named to University of Iowa dean’s list

IOWA CITY, IA — Lucy Rohden, of Clemmons, is among the more than 8,500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester. Rohden is a student in the UI’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in journalism and mass communication.

To be included on the dean’s list a student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on nine semester hours or more and have no semester hours of “I” (incomplete) or “O” (no grade reported).

Local resident named to William & Mary dean’s list

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Mariano Leyva Merino, of Lewisville, was recently named to the dean’s list at the College of William & Mary for the spring semester.

In order to achieve dean’s list status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 quality point average during the semester.

Students named to chancellor’s list at UMN Crookston

CROOKSTON, Minn. — Students named to the spring semester 2020 chancellor’s list were announced recently by the Office of the Registrar. The U of M Crookston is one of the most respected career-oriented, technology-based universities in the nation.

To qualify for a place on the chancellor’s list, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded (A-F) credits while attaining a 4.00 grade-point average. The Crookston campus is the online leader in the University of Minnesota system and the only campus providing every full-time student with a laptop computer.

Students named to the chancellor’s list include CJ Sobolewski, of Clemmons, who is majoring in sport and recreation management.
