Clemson University announces president’s, dean’s lists for spring semester
CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson University has announced the spring 2020 president’s list.
To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all A’s) grade-point average.
The following is a list of students from this area:
• Madeline Grace Bell, of Advance, majoring in pre-business
• Jackson K. Carter, of Winston-Salem, majoring in mechanical engineering
• Lauren Walker Lewis, of Clemmons, majoring in health science
• Shelby Lee Mozingo, of Clemmons, majoring in biochemistry
Dean’s list
To be named to the dean’s list, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
The following is a list of students from this area:
• John Patrick Beck, of Clemmons, majoring in accounting
• David Gabriel Herman, of Winston-Salem, majoring in industrial engineering
• Lydia G. Hudgens, of Lewisville, majoring in accounting
• Loren Paige Myers, of Mocksville, majoring in psychology
College of Charleston announces president’s dean’s lists for spring semester
CHARLESTON, S.C. — College of Charleston congratulates more than 2,600 students who were named to the president’s and dean’s lists for the spring semester. The following local students earned honors:
• Lilli Butterfield, of Mocksville, was named to the president’s list. Butterfield is majoring in exercise science.
• Michael Bodenhamer, of Lewisville, was named to the dean’s list. Bodenhamer is majoring in marine biology.
• Ian Goodman, of Winston-Salem, was named to the president’s list. Goodman is majoring in accounting.
To qualify for president’s list (highly distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.
To quality for dean’s list (distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.6 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.
Rohden among the 5,700 students to graduate this spring from the University of Iowa
IOWA CITY, IA — More than 5,700 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate, and professional students graduated this spring under extraordinary circumstances.
Lucy Rohden, of Clemmons, was among the students conferred their degrees. Rohden was student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and earned a bachelor of arts in journalism and mass communication.
Kennedy receives degree from Western New England University
SPRINGFIELD, MA — Corey Kennedy, of Clemmons, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Western New England University in May.
