COVID-19 daily briefing — July 29

There are 49 new cases and 5 deaths reported today. There have been 4,703 laboratory-confirmed cases and 49 deaths in Forsyth County. All cases reported by the Forsyth County Department of Public Health are Forsyth County residents. Of the 4,703, 3,220 are presumed recovered. The case count is subject to change throughout the day but will only be reported once per day in the daily briefing.
The public health director will provide a detailed briefing at 2 p.m. at the beginning of the July 30 Board of County Commissioners meeting, which will be conducted remotely. The public can listen to and watch the meeting on WSTV 13 or by going to https://www.cityofws.org/493/WSTV-13
