COVID-19 daily briefing — Aug. 24

There are 52 new cases reported today. Over the weekend, there were 50 new cases reported on Saturday, and 34 new cases reported on Sunday. There have been 5,876 laboratory-confirmed cases and 66 deaths in Forsyth County. All cases reported by the Forsyth County Department of Public Health are Forsyth County residents. Of the 5,740, 5,155 are presumed recovered. The case count is subject to change throughout the day but will only be reported once per day in the daily briefing.
