WINSTON-SALEM — Beginning Sept. 10, Novant Health will restructure its respiratory assessment and screening centers to one central location in Winston-Salem. The new screening center will open Monday, Sept. 14, at the former Sears Auto Center located at 190 Hanes Mall Circle. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Screenings are available without a referral or appointment.

The following screening centers in the Triad will close Sept. 10:

  • Kimberley Park: 620 Burton St. NW
  • Thomasville: 903 Randolph St.
  • Highland Oaks: 600 Highland Oaks Drive
  • Waughtown: 656 East Monmouth St.

The East Winston screening center on Highland Avenue will remain open at this time.

COVID-19 screenings will continue to be available at many Novant Health’s clinic locations, as well as the following Novant Health GoHealth Urgent Care locations:

  • Hanes Square: 105 Hanes Square Circle
  • Kernersville: 794 S. Main St.
  • Thomasville: 1122 Randolph St.

Since opening the respiratory assessment and screening centers in March, Novant Health has screened more than 75,000 people. The majority of those receiving care at these locations are traveling from outside the ZIP code where the screening center is located.

The centrally located screening center is accessible by public transportation and will provide ongoing community access because it can accommodate more patients and offers extended hours of service. Spanish interpreter services will also be available.
