The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education has voted to make changes to the proposed phased re-entry plan. The changes solidify return dates for pre-K through first grade. All other grades will continue to learn virtually pending further discussion.

Students with disabilities in Exceptional Children (EC) separate setting, those assigned to EC programs (i.e. visually impaired, hearing impaired, MAP, behavior) and students on the Occupational Course of Study along with all Pre-K students will return on Nov. 2.

Kindergarteners will return on Nov. 9. First-graders will begin in-person instruction on Nov. 16.

The Board of Education will meet on Nov. 17 to reevaluate a potential return date for grades two through 12.
