With all that is going on in the modern world throwing everything off from the usual, a return to normalcy is much appreciated here and there. Despite everything about this school year being the opposite of what would be going on traditionally, West is trying to bring seniors on campus for Senior Day activities. Prior to Oct. 30, the day all of this is happening, every senior has filled out a form selecting the time they will come to have their formal senior portraits taken as well as cap and gown ordering.
West has planned out the whole day in order to keep students, faculty and everyone else safe. When seniors arrive they will check in in front of the gym, enter the gym with a mask, removing it only for your photo, then exiting the gym through the back, after ordering cap and gown, as well as optional graduation announcements, seniors will have the option to decorate the bus lot in chalk. Students are encouraged to honor a favorite extracurricular activity, quote or just a picture that shows their artistic sides. As very few seniors have even gotten to even set foot on campus this year, it is safe to say that this will be a much-appreciated day.
