Emercyn Ellis selected as Clemmons Rotary Student of the Month for October

Emercyn Ellis was recognized on Oct. 28 as the Rotary Club of Clemmons’ Student of the Month for October.
She is an excellent student with a GPA of 3.87 and ranked in the top third of her class.
Ellis’ School Activities have included varsity cheerleader and competitive team cheerleader, member and current president of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Model UN; Youth and Government, and speech and debate.
Outside of school, Ellis has stayed busy with her volunteer work at Novant Health, competitive swim team for three years which gave her a passion for the water and baby-sitting since she was 12 years old.
In addition to all of the above activities, she continues to work at the Juice Shop and Salem Gymnastics & Swim where she teaches swimming to children. In her spare time, she raises puppies.
Ellis will be attending college this fall and has applied to several colleges where she intends to major in nursing and political science.
The Rotary Club of Clemmons congratulates Ellis for her accomplishments and contributions to her school and community.
