Operation Medicine Drop will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m.- noon at Clemmons Public Works, 3800 Dillon Industrial Drive. Don’t flush unwanted medicines down the toilet — sewage systems cannot remove medicines from water. Instead, dispose of your expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications — no questions asked — during Operation Medicine Drop and you’ll also make your house safer by preventing accidental poisonings and drug abuse. For households only. Pills only. Please, no liquids, needles or inhalants. Please remain in your vehicle — this will be a drive-thru service.
