The Rotary Club of Clemmons has named Daniel Garner as the Rotarian of the Quarter for his successful lead on the Rotary’s gift of knowledge toys drive.
Garner works as a financial analyst for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of socks. He was born and raised in Winston-Salem. He graduated from North Forsyth High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Garner strives to exemplify the Rotary Club’s motto, Service Above Self, and make a positive difference in his community. He currently resides in Clemmons with his wife, Casey.
Rotary Gift of Knowledge was a drive to collect toys and materials with educational value. Items were collected such as telescopes, magnifying glasses, board games, puzzles, books, globes, etc. The club is looking for items for all ages, pre-k through high school. The Rotary Club of Clemmons collected these items for children in need. These resources were especially vital considering the school schedule. These materials provided children with additional resources as they are spending more time at home.
