This morning’s ice storm has produced some sporadic power outages with less than 1,000 homes affected in the Clemmons and Lewisville areas as of 3 p.m. today. The storm also produced some beautiful sites today with ice clinging to trees and other plant life. Conditions have lightened this afternoon but the National Weather Service is calling for a second round of freezing rain this evening lasting into the early hours of Friday morning.
