Celebrating over 3,600 graduates from the classes of 2020 and 2021 on May 12; College Alumna Dr. Krishauna Hines-Gaither, associate vice president of Guilford College will to deliver the commencement address.
More than 3,600 graduates will receive associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates at Forsyth Technical Community College’s graduation ceremonies Wednesday, May 12.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 graduates were unable to have an in-person commencement ceremony. With the opportunity to host a safe and socially distanced outdoor ceremony at Truist stadium, the college took this opportunity to celebrate both classes. Media representatives are invited to cover both ceremonies.
The college is honored to host Dr. Krishauna Hines-Gaither, associate vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Guilford College and a Forsyth Tech alumna, as the commencement speaker for both ceremonies. Her extensive work with diversity and equity perfectly mirrors Forsyth Tech’s vision to be a catalyst for equitable economic mobility, empowering lives, and transforming communities.
The event will be Wednesday, May 12. The morning ceremony will be at 10 a.m., and the afternoon ceremony will be at 3 p.m. The park will open and accept guests beginning one hour before each ceremony.
For special parking permits and the required media credentials for the event, contact Devin Purgason.
The event will be at Truist Stadium, 951 Ballpark Way in Winston-Salem.
