Local fire departments would receive money in house budget

RALEIGH — The House has finalized its version of the budget for the 2021-2022 term year. In the House budget, the Clemmons Fire Department would receive $821,330. The Vienna Fire Department would receive $821,330, and the Lewisville Fire Department would receive $650,000. Rep. Jeff Zenger requested these funds for the various fire departments to the House Appropriations Chairs to include in the budget.
“I am grateful for our emergency responders and glad to help them get the equipment they need,” said Zenger.
