The Battle of Shallow Ford Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, in the Visitors’ Center of Historic Bethabara Park. The program for the evening is the Conservation Award for Speas Elementary, short commemorative event summaries, and initiation of new members. Women who are interested in learning more about DAR are invited to attend.
