Upcoming events at New Philadelphia Moravian Church:

• The New Friendship class will hold its yard sale from 7 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the church pavilion. The class uses the proceeds to support numerous missions throughout the year, including City with Dwellings, Tunnel to Towers, Ekissa (African orphanage), Centers for Exceptional Children, the Blessing Box and others.

• Semi-Annual Shredding Event; Safe and secure professional shredding. This year, two shredding trucks will be onsite. Event will be from 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Oct. 9. Enter from Kilpatrick Street and drive thru — staff will unload — you don’t even have to get out of your car. Only $5 per box (or bag). Sponsored by the Advent Sunday school class. Proceeds benefit outreach ministries of the Moravian Church.

• The New Philly Farmers Market will be held from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 14, 21 and 28. Outside vendors will be a part of this market, as well as members of NPMC who grow or create their own product. A variety of vendors will be available, including musical guests and food trucks. For vendor applications, go to www.newphilly.org

• The Women’s Fellowship of New Philadelphia will host its Holiday Treasures Sale from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Oct. 30, in the Fellowship Hall. All holidays and decoration items will be available for purchase: ornaments, trees, home décor, decorations, ceramics, clothes, accessories, jewelry, linens, dishes, one-of-a-kind items and Moravian items.
