Things are getting spooky through the breezeway as Halloween approaches quickly. Titans are getting excited and can’t wait to put on their best costume. Let’s see what some Titan seniors are doing for their last Halloween in high school.
“I’m playing softball Halloween weekend but Saturday night I’m going to a haunted house with my teammates. Sunday I will probably dress up and hang out with some friends,” senior Caroline Johnson said.
With Halloween being on Sunday it seems most Titans are celebrating a day early.
“For Halloween this year I’m going to dress up but I’m not sure as to what yet. I’m probably just going to hang out with some friends on Saturday since Halloween is on Sunday,” senior Treyce Warner said.
Last week’s football game ended in a victory for the Titans, defeating Demons 46-7. This week’s game is bittersweet as it is the last regular-season game of the year. It is also senior night for some of our seniors. Students will be cheering from their section decked out in their red, white and blue for America night. Come out and cheer loud for the Titans!!
A big congratulations to the Titan volleyball team for winning the CPC tournament championship. The 2021 volleyball all conference team is made up of three Titans, senior Clara LaRue, freshman Kennedy Weber and freshman Elizabeth Nye. Great job, ladies!
Winter sports are approaching rather quickly, tryouts and wristband distribution start very soon. In order to try out for a winter sport, all athletes must be issued an eligibility wristband. All wristbands will be handed out in the Simpson Gym lobby from 3:45-4:30p.m., wrestling wristbands will be handed out today and boys and girls indoor tracks will be distributed Nov. 4. Tryouts begin for basketball, swimming/diving and wrestling on Nov. 1, indoor track begins on Nov. 8.
Go Titans!
