With 5 of 5 precincts reporting, Mike Rogers running opposed was elected mayor of Clemmons. In the council race, Michelle Barson, Mary Cameron were re-elected and newcomer Bradley Taylor took the third spot. Vote totals are as follows:

• Michelle Barson — 1,144
• Mary L. Cameron — 1,065
• Bradley Taylor — 1,010
