Titans look ahead to career days, Thanksgiving

Titans no doubt had a blast this Halloweekend, and now are already looking forward to Thanksgiving break. Wednesday some Titans partook in the PreACT getting prepared for their futures. A big step for some seniors this week was submitting various Early Decision applications, good luck to all!
West is hosting a military career day as recruiters from different branches will be on campus to speak to students who are interested. This will be held in the media center at the beginning of each of the four class periods on Nov. 10. Fill out the Google form or head up to student services to sign up in person.
Novant Health Medical Center is inviting all students interested in a healthcare career field to join its Career Discovery Series. Students will be able to meet and engage with many healthcare professionals who are happy to share all of their years of wisdom. The registration fee is $20, only the first 20 students to register in WS/FCS will be eligible for this opportunity. All students involved will have to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Email eownes@novanthealth.org to register for the kickoff meeting Friday from 6-7 p.m. An announcement including all of WS/FCS is Nov. 12 is now labeled a day of caring which is observed by students and staff.
