After a much-needed week break, the Titans are back and more tired than ever. December is here and along with it comes the holiday season, meaning only three weeks until we wrap up 2021 with winter break. Let’s see what West is up to.
In light of the holiday season, West invites all seniors to give back and contribute to senior day service. All throughout this week, West will be collecting non-perishable foods as part of the “Meals 4 Morgan” backpack program. If you want to contribute, bring items to the main lobby. On senior day, the class of 2022 will pack bags of nutritious meals for families in our community in partnership with Morgan Elementary.
West seniors are required to pay a senior fee of $25. Cash or checks are accepted, and make checks out to West Forsyth High School and student number on the memo line. Online payments are also accepted at https://osp.osmsinc.com/WSFCS/BVModules/ProductTemplates/Bvc2013/Product.aspx?productid=AM013-136.
A few clubs are having meetings within the next few weeks. Joining any of these clubs gives a great opportunity to meet friends or even add something to your high school resumé. The Girl Service Club is having a meeting Dec. 7, right after school. This is a club full of girls who love to serve their community. Anime Club had a meeting Monday but there are many more to come where anime, magna and trading card games will be in attendance. Last but not least, Multicultural Society will meet Dec.14 for a holiday club social, starting at 4:30 p.m.
Go Titans!
