Myers named Rotary Club of Clemmons Student of the Month

Josiah Myers was recognized on Feb. 2 as the Rotary Club of Clemmons’ Student of the Month for January.
Myers is an excellent student with a GPA of 3.74 and ranks 215th in a class of 563 students.
According to Myers’ teacher, he is a leader in his classroom. Myers guides students and helps other students with projects and classwork. His work is always completed with great effort and commitment.
He has strived to make A’s throughout his tenure at West Forsyth. In addition to his academic performance, Myers is enrolled in a program that requires work hours to earn his high school diploma.
Myers reports to work at Wake Forest University every morning at 9 a.m. and works until 1:30 p.m. He returns to school to participate in his fourth period class. Myers exhibits a “can-do” attitude, he is kind to his peers and teachers and is a pleasure to teach and to know.
He is involved with his church youth group at Victory on the Frontline Church and enjoys volunteering during events at the church.
Myers makes cards for people by drawing a picture and writing a message. He makes cards for all occasions and his cards have touched people.
He enjoys helping people and helps other students with their challenges and is a good friend.
Myers has overcome and continues to strive despite having an Autism diagnosis.
The Rotary Club of Clemmons congratulates Myers for his accomplishments and contributions to his school and community. He is an inspiration to everyone.
