The Titans are sham-rockin’ and rollin’ through this week. Everyone in the village is looking for the leprechaun who took our extra hour of sleep. This week has been a long and sleepy one for the Titans but there is always something to look forward to. Let’s see what the Titans are up to in the near future.
There will be a Forsyth Tech Informational Mini Fair taking over West on March 23. Students will be gathering in the upper level of the media center to join program directors from FTCC. Students will be informed on post-secondary Forsyth Tech programs, dual enrollment and other helpful information. Students can pick the session they attend, either 11 a.m. to noon or 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. All grade levels are welcome and encouraged to sign up for a session.
Clear totes being sold by Titan Enterprise will be on sale today in the lobby of the 600 building, during lunches. These can also be purchased in the office daily. Support West Forsyth High School and buy the perfect clear bag for a variety of sports games and events.
Juniors and seniors interested in joining the military, now is your time. The ASVAB will be given at West on April 20, free of charge. This is a multi-aptitude test that helps predict future success in the military. This test can also be helpful to other students to help learn more about career exploration and planning. Registration is available at this link, or go to Student Services.
Next Thursday is the end of the third quarter. The heat is turning up at West but the Titans work best under pressure. This also means the Titans are one step closer to the end of the school year.
Although the boy’s lacrosse team didn’t leave with a win against their rival Reagan last week, they’re working harder than ever. Their next home game is March 22 starting at 7:15 p.m. against East Forsyth. Make sure to come out and support the Titans.
The whole Titan family is wishing everyone a happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Make sure to soak in all the luck you can. Go Titans!
