West softball comes back from break with win against Reagan

The West Forsyth softball team emerged from its week-long spring break and picked up a 13-2 Central Piedmont 4-A win against Reagan on Tuesday night.
West (14-4, 9-3 CPC) fell behind 1-0 in the first inning, but tied the game in the second and pushed three more runs across for a 3-1 lead after the third inning.
The Titans blew the game open after scoring three runs in the fifth and six runs in the sixth.
Olivia Chappell provided the big stick for West, going 4 for 4 with five RBIs and Cate Etchason picked up the win.
West plays at Surry Central on Wednesday in a nonconference game and will play host to Davie County on Friday.
