After a two-year hiatus, on April 30, the Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department hosted its annual Spring Community Cleanup which comprised of multiple groups and organizations in and around Clemmons, along with many family groups and students from West Forsyth High School.
The beautiful weather brought 107 volunteers out to participate in the cleanup. This event resulted in 106 bags of trash and recyclables picked up along 12.9 miles of roads throughout Clemmons.
All volunteers received a 2022 Spring Cleanup Shirt that was created by fifth grader Lilly Rae Combs from Southwest Elementary.
The Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department would like to thank everyone who was able to participate in this fan favorite community event that helps keeps our road and waterways clean.
A big thank you to following sponsors who helped make this event possible: Be Kind Coffee Co., Biscuitville, Clemmons Family Dental, Clemmons Trace Village, David Dixon Real Estate, Krispy Kreme Donuts, McCall Insurance Services, New Horizons Preschool Inc., Novant Health Twin City Pediatrics and Waste Management.
