Meetings

The regularly scheduled council meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, in council chambers.

The regularly scheduled planning board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, in council chambers.

Public works

Limbs should be placed on the edge of your street by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between March and November.
East of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Winston-Salem side) – 2nd full week of the month
West of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Tanglewood side) – 1st full week of the month
The Village of Clemmons no longer provides yard waste pick up for grass clippings. Please do not dispose of yard waste in residential Trash or Recycle carts. N.C. State Law (130A-309.10(F) 3) prohibits the disposal of yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, tree limbs, brush, untreated wood, etc.) in sanitary landfills.

Clemmons Farmers Market

The Clemmons Farmers Market is open on Saturdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Jerry Long Family YMCA at 1150 S Peace Haven Road in Clemmons (located in the open field at the intersection of S. Peace Haven Road and Jessie Village Drive). With over 40 registered vendors, the market offers a wide range of products including but not limited to fresh baked goods, candies, kettle corn, pickles, sauces, jams, jellies, fresh flowers, soaps, lotions, sustainable livestock, plants and a harvest of fresh produce each Saturday.

Thank you for participating in “Clemmons Cares” month! As July winds down, don’t forget to join in on the Clemmons Wonderland Facebook page as to share ways to spread love throughout the community and highlight local individuals, groups, organizations and businesses that make Clemmons such a special community. And back by popular demand, kindness rock painting for all to hide and find around the village! (Plain rocks will be available July 5 to grab from a bin outside of Village Hall, as well as a painting station at the Saturday Clemmons Farmers Market)
Join in on Saturday, Aug. 13 for Movie Night in the Village at the Jerry Long Family YMCA. “The Karate Kid” is the feature film that will begin at sunset. Arrive early for food trucks, DJ, games, and taekwondo demonstrations. A special thank you to Tru Taekwondo for your sponsorship of this event!
