Clemmons Middle baseball team off to impressive start

The Clemmons Middle School baseball team defeated Southeast Middle 18-0 in three innings on Tuesday to improve to 5-0 on the season.
Giovanni Buccino collected three hits and had three RBIs for the Cardinals, while Mattie Wright and Jailyn Moore had three hits and two RBIs apiece to lead to offensive surge.
The Cardinals belted out 18 hits in the win against Southeast and now have 77 hits this season through five games.
The Clemmons pitching staff has also been dominant in winning their first five games, allowing just one run and four hits.
The Cardinals also have wins against Paisley (29-0), Kernersville (11-1), Walkertown (16-0) and Northwest (20-0).
