Pedestrian plan study
The Village of Clemmons has initiated a Pedestrian Plan study, which will result in the first ever Pedestrian Master Plan for the village. An online survey will be open through July 16. Let the village know where there are safety concerns and where additional pedestrian improvements are needed. Go to clemmons.org/pedestrianplan
Events
Join the Village of Clemmons in celebrating kindness the entire month of July. Be on the lookout for Kindness Rocks, Facebook posts with daily ideas to spread kindness and on overall call to celebrate and prioritize being kind to others. You can grab a rock anytime you like outside of Village Hall (3715 Clemmons Road) paint, and then hide yourself, or return to the bucket on the bench and we can hide for you. We will also have a rock painting tent setup at the Clemmons Farmers Market every Saturday in July.
Coffee with a Cop will be held on July 18 from 9-10 a.m. at Ketchie Creek Bakery and Café Clemmons, located at 6344 Clemmons Point Drive, Clemmons.
First Responder Appreciation Day will be held on July 22 in conjunction with the Clemmons Farmers Market.
Employment

Clemmons Farmers Market
The Clemmons Farmers Market is open seasonally on Saturdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Jerry Long Family YMCA, which is located at 1150 S. Peace Haven Road, in Clemmons. The first Saturday of each month is Artisan Day at the market. The Jerry Long Family YMCA is a tobacco-, dog- and alcohol-free campus. No pets, please.
Meetings
The regularly-scheduled council meeting will be held on July 10 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers, located at 3715 Clemmons Road.

Public works
Limb collection: Limbs should be placed on the edge of your yard by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between March and November.
West of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Tanglewood side) — first full week of the month
East of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Winston-Salem side) — second full week of the month
To assist with additional waste, recycling and cardboard, Clemmons’ residents are invited to bring their excess to the Public Works facility between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays).
When available, mulch can be loaded at 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday — please note mulch is only loaded at these times and not throughout the day. Mulch is not available on rainy days. All trucks and trailers must have side walls and be covered (example: with a tarp) before leaving the yard. For mulch availability, call Public Works at 336-766-9170. These services are limited to Village of Clemmons residents, and you may be asked to show ID.
