The resurfacing of Lewisville-Clemmons Road is currently underway by the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

The extent of the paving is between South Peacehaven Road and U.S. Route 421.

Motorists should expect delays if traveling within the work zone area.

An NCDOT spokesperson said that that the work would last about a week and a half.

Alternate routes are Styers Ferry and South Peacehaven roads.

As noted by village officials, the road is state maintained and not under Clemmons jurisdiction.
