ADVANCE — The Clemmons Masonic Lodge #755 hosted its annual charity golf tournament at the Oak Valley Golf Club in Advance earlier this month.
Seventy-six golfers split into 19 foursomes for the tournament that raised more than $20,000 for various charitable organizations associated with the Masonic Lodge. Those organizations included Bikes for Books at Clemmons Elementary, West Forsyth scholarships, the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford and the Masonic Eastern Home in Greensboro.
Lunch was provided by Camel City BBQ. The weather was a beautiful 79 degrees and sunny. Eighteen volunteers pitched in to make the event possible. The Masonic Lodge also wished to thank sponsors and Randall James, the superintendent of Oak Valley Golf Course.
The lodge is looking forward to hosting next year’s tournament.
