Child programs
Toddler Storytime
• Mondays at 10 a.m.
Join in for stories, fingerplays, songs and activities designed for small children. Recommended for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. Toddler Storytime will meet on Mondays at 10 a.m.
Preschool Storytime
• Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Join in for stories, fingerplays, songs and activities designed for small children. Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. Preschool Storytime will meet on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Snowflake Search & Find

Can you find all the snowflakes hidden in the children’s room at the Lewisville Branch Library? Find them all, and you win a prize.
Storytime with Santa
- Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
- Lewisville Branch Library
Santa Claus will be visiting the Lewisville Branch all the way from the North Pole. He will be sharing some holiday cheer this December with his fun stories, rhymes, songs and activities for children. Recommended for children ages 2 – 5 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. Contact the library at 336-703-2940 for more information. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lewisville Library.
Builders’ Club
- Dec. 20 at 4 p.m.
- Lewisville Branch Auditorium
The Lewisville Branch Builders’ Club meets the third Wednesday of every month. Bring your creative building skills and come play. There are many building supplies, including LEGOs, K’Nex and more. All ages welcome. Space is limited, so registration is required.
Teen programs
Chess Club
• Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 4 p.m.
• Lewisville Branch Multipurpose Room
The Lewisville Branch Chess Club meets after school on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Learn to play or engage in friendly competition. Space is limited, so registration is required. Ages 12-18.
Adult programs
Color and Coffee
- Dec. 15 at 10 a.m.
- Lewisville Branch
Color and Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants.
Holiday Concert with the Fun Fatale Trio
- Dec. 16 at 11 a.m.
Get in the holiday spirit with the sounds of The Fun Fatale Trio, an acoustic band of vocal harmonies, guitar, fiddle and upright bass. According to the trio, their music defies genre and entertains audiences with its own interpretations of new and old songs with roots in a variety of traditions. They want to share their sound in the community and put a smile on faces.
Witchy Washi & Whatnot Crafts
- Dec. 20 at 10 a.m.
- Lewisville Branch Auditorium
Join in to learn how to make fun crafts with washi tape and/or other supplies. December craft: Cranberry Napkin Rings. Space and supplies limited to first 12 registrants so be sure to call to reserve your spot.
