Two arrested in connection to Clemmons homicide

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged two individuals with felony murder last week in connection with Clemmons’ Jan. 8 homicide.
According to information from the FCSO, on Jan. 8, at approximately 2 p.m., deputies responded to a call for service regarding a man with possible wounds to his abdomen lying on the corner of Blue Bonnet Lane and Bridal Path in Clemmons.
Upon arrival, deputies located Damilyon Monroe, 21, with gunshot wounds to his stomach. Deputies administered CPR until relieved by Forsyth County EMS. Monroe later succumbed to his wounds on the scene.
After further investigation the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Wiley Ywaskevic, 18, and Alexandra Patton, 18, with felony murder.
Both Ywaskevic and Patton have appeared before the magistrate and are currently in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center with no bond.
“In the homicide of Damilyon Raekwon Monroe, we are pleased to give some closure to the family,” Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough said. “We would like to thank the collaborative effort of the community and all of our law enforcement partners that make up Forsyth County. Both Wiley and Alexandra have been placed in the Forsyth County Jail. I want to thank everyone who participated and assisted in the arrest. We stand on the importance of being better, stronger and safer together.”
