Events:

  • February is Neighbors Helping Neighbors month in the Village of Clemmons. This month, the village will focus on partnering with local businesses, organizations and community members to collect food items and funds for the Clemmons Food Pantry

Farmers market:

  • Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 season. All rules, guidelines and applications are available online at clemmons.org/farmersmarket.
  • Several vendors are offering off season preorders and weekend pickup at village hall. Go to clemmons.org/preorders for more info.

Employment:

  • The village of Clemmons currently has job opportunities available. Find out more at clemmons.org/jobs. Current openings include public works equipment operator and planning technician.

Meetings:

  • The regularly scheduled council meeting will be held on Monday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. in council chambers, located at 3715 Clemmons Road, Clemmons.
  •  The regularly scheduled planning board meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m. in council chambers, located at 3715 Clemmons Road, Clemmons.

 Public Works:

    • Weather permitting: the last leaf collection will begin on Monday, Jan. 29. All leaves should be set out for collection by 7 a.m.
  • To assist with additional waste, recycling and cardboard, Clemmons’ citizens are invited to bring their excess to the Public Works facility between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays).

Stormwater: 

  • Staff will be completing drainage outfall inspections throughout the Village of Clemmons as part of the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s NPDES Phase II permit throughout the months of December 2023 – March 2024 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m (weather depending). Activities may include visual observations, photography, creek walking, and water quality sampling, primarily at drainage pipe outlets into ditches and water bodies. All Stormwater personnel will be wearing reflective vests, driving marked vehicles, and carrying identification.
