CLEMMONS — Late last month, anti-abortion pro-lifers from the Clemmons area gathered on the sidewalk from the old Clemmons library to the Clemmons post office to express their support for the unborn.

The event was held on June 23 to recognize the second anniversary of the Dobbs vs. Jackson Supreme Court decision. That decision reversed the 1973 Roe vs. Wade ruling that had legalized abortion in the U.S.

The Clemmons Life Chain was sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Columbiettes of Holy Family Catholic Church.
