Behind the scenes, rotary clubs are busy making hometowns a better place to live. But sometimes, residents are not aware of all the contributions that the Rotary Club of Western Forsyth makes to Clemmons, Lewisville and other communities.

Every year, the rotary club gives back through their Spring Eggstravaganza event — an egg hunt with more than 4,000 eggs for the kids along with additional entertainment.

In addition, the Rotary Club of Western Forsyth has hosted multiple fundraising roasts of celebrities such as Richard Petty to establish scholarships for seniors at Winston Salem Preparatory Academy.

By furnishing books to the Lewisville Elementary School library, providing food for the pantry at South Fork Elementary School, and establishing a Thanksgiving Food Drive and Christmas Toy Drive — the Rotary Club of Western Forsyth has been continually active in our community.

The Rotary Club of Western Forsyth is now preparing for its 2024 fall fundraiser. You are invited to a Casino Night on Friday, Sept. 20, at the Forsyth Country Club from 7-10 p.m. All profits from the event will go to support these club’s local service missions for the next year.

Anyone who likes to have fun, make new friends and support a great cause while playing poker, Blackjack, craps, roulette and the Big Money Wheel — this event is for them.

In addition, at this year’s Casino Night, you can win the following prices from local community sponsors: A free custom tuxedo ($395 value) from Cahill & Swain, Golf for 4 at Forsyth Country Club, BBQ Dinner for up to 25 friends and family, $50-100 gift cards from over 30 local restaurants, a NASCAR Ride-Along and more.

Register today to lock in your place for this fun-filled fundraiser at https://RotaryCasinoNight.org
