LEWISVILLE — All Forsyth County Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2 to celebrate Labor Day.

Youth programs

• Book Babies — Mondays at 9:30 a.m.

• Toddler Time — Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

• Preschool Storytime — Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

• STEAM for Tweens (ages 8- 12) on Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (registration preferred by not required).

• Builders’ Club (ages 6-12) on Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. using LEGOs, K’Nex and more.

• Take & Make Crafts for Kids on Sept. 3-7 (Pirates).

• Search & Find activity on Sept. 16-20 (Pirates).

Adult programs

• Yoga for Beginners on Sept. 5 and 12 at noon.

• Belly Dancing for Beginners on Sept. 6 at 11 a.m.

• Hook & Loop Group (needle crafts) on Sept. 4 at 11 a.m.

• Witchy Washi & Whatnot crafts on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. (registration required).

• Color and Coffee on Sept. 13 and 27 at 10 a.m.

• Tuesdays at Two Book Club on Sept. 3 at 2 p.m.

• Books for Dudes Book Club on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m.

• Friends Book Club on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m.

Special interest

• Eldercare Series has classes on Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. (Reducing Risks of Developing Dementia) at 10 a.m. with Geriatric Adult Specialty Team of Partners Health Management.

• Cook with Ease on Sept. 10 at noon (virtual viewings with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension at the library).

• Fun Fatale Trio concert on Sept. 13 at 1 p.m.

Other (all ages)

• Family Films are on the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

• The annual Lewisville Branch Reading Contest runs until Dec. 14.

• Cut and Paste Collage Workshop with Katie Wolf, FCPL Artist in Residence (ages 8- adult) on Sept. 7 at 2 p.m.

• Friends of the Lewisville Library Fall Book Sale runs Sept. 26 from 4-7 p.m. (members only), Sept. 27 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sept. 28 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m..
