Lewisville United Methodist to hold Servant Day

On Sunday morning, around 200 members of Lewisville United Methodist Church will leave the pews for their third annual Servant Day.

With service projects for all ages and abilities, the congregation worships through acts of kindness, putting their faith in action on the Sunday closest to the Sept. 11, National Day of Service.

Members of the church will fan out through the community, partnering with groups like the Town of Lewisville, Lewisville Community Assistance Program (LCAP), Lewisville Community Garden, Vienna Village, Shepherd’s Center, Sunnyside Ministry, World Relief Triad, Open Arms Community, Ronald McDonald House, Project Buddy Bears of NC and more.
