Forsyth Technical Community College has set a new milestone with its highest enrollment in more than a decade, driven by consistent year-over-year growth. The college continues to see strong demand from students, with fall 2024 enrollment increasing by nearly 6 percent compared to fall 2023.
This enrollment growth follows a remarkable 9.7-percent increase in the spring of 2023 and another 5.9-percent rise in the spring of 2024. The upward trend reflects Forsyth Tech’s commitment to offering high-quality, accessible education that meets the needs of today’s students and the local workforce.
“We are thrilled to see such sustained growth and are proud to welcome more students than we’ve seen in 10+ years to our campuses,” said Dr. Janet Spriggs, president of Forsyth Tech. “This record-breaking enrollment showcases the strength of our programs, our dedicated faculty and staff, and the trust our community places in Forsyth Tech to provide a pathway to success.”
The record enrollment comes as Forsyth Tech expands its offerings and facilities to accommodate growing interest in transfer degrees, programs like diesel repair and supply chain management, all while continuing to build strong partnerships with local industries.
